Spain Digital Nomad residence — turnkey

We help you obtain a 3-year residence in Spain in 1.5 — 2 months.

Our team has relocated hundreds of clients, colleagues and their families to Spain since 2022 in a simple and stress-free way.

Overview

The Spain Digital Nomad residence in two paragraphs

A 3-year residence in Spain with the right to work — for you and your family (you can bring a partner, children and, in special cases, even parents). A clean way to relocate yourself or your team.

Headlines

  • Visa-free travel across 30+ Schengen countries
  • Live and work in Spain 365 days a year
  • Approval rate above 95%
  • Approval-by-silence available if there's no answer within 20 working days

Naturalisation & PR

  • Permanent residence after 5 years (with the right to relocate within the EU)
  • Children born in Spain receive citizenship after 1 year
  • Spanish passport — after 10 years

Banking & business

  • Open a bank account in the EU or Revolut without friction
  • Easier to open personal and corporate accounts outside the EU
  • Option to set up a legal entity in the EU

🚨 Recent developments

Portugal increased citizenship requirements to 10 years and removed the option of applying for residency on a tourist visa. Spain remains one of the last EU countries that still allows applying for residency inside the country.

Requirements

3 main requirements for the residence

  • Remote-work contract

You have a remote-work contract longer than 3 months from a company that has existed for more than 1 year.

  • Income from €2,849 / month

Contractual income above €2,849 per month at the current exchange rate. +€1,068 for the first family member, +€356 for each additional one.

  • Schengen on entry

You can come to Spain on a Schengen visa to file. Filing without a Schengen — via a 1-year D visa from a consulate — is possible too, but it complicates the process.

If all three are a yes, then with ~90% probability you'll get the residence. The rest is just the right set of documents and the right way to file them.

More on Jurado (sworn) translations

Sworn translators are state-certified by Spain and listed in an official registry — a Spanish counterpart to a notarised translation. Some documents must be translated by them and only them.

We work with the best translators and handle this for you. Plan an additional ~€300–400 (depending on document count and pages). With the All-in-one engagement, sworn translations are included in the price.

Process

How working with us looks

We go through all 8 stages together — from strategy and document collection to picking up your residence card (TIE).

  1. Intro consultation — 1+ hour

We map the strategy for collecting, filing and obtaining the residence. As a bonus, we cover the practical questions about relocating to Spain.

  2. Personal plan and checklist

We build your document collection plan and checklist: contract requirements, employer letter, criminal record, apostilles, translations and so on.

  3. Telegram chat for any question

We open a private Telegram chat in which we coordinate the case and you can ask anything about collection or about life in Spain.

  4. We assemble the case for you

We fill in every form and document carefully and correctly — avoiding the common mistakes.

  5. Final check before filing

Once collected, we re-check the package from scratch — completeness and correctness — to get approval on the first try.

  6. Filing with electronic signature

You arrive in Spain. We file online with our qualified electronic signature.

  7. Daily monitoring of the case

We watch the application status every day and react to any additional requests instantly — no rejections from us due to missed responses.

  8. Approval

Once approved, we hand the resolution to you and help pick up the residence card (TIE) as fast as possible.

What if something goes sideways — extra request or rejection?

We don't drop the case and we fight to the end. Additional requests are answered fast and we help collect the missing documents. Requirements change from time to time — we adapt.

Rejections are very rare with a properly assembled case (and often happen due to a technical error on the office's side). If it does happen, we file an appeal and pursue alternative channels to get a fast response.

Thank you for the help with our paperwork. The anxious days turned into sunny ones — everything went smoothly, even though the migration office lost our documents at one point.
